Elvira: Unfortunately I still speak German on a basic level. On one hand I want to continue learning German to the point where I can have a decent conversation, on the other hand I rarely need it in Berlin. Language courses are very time and energy consuming and I had difficulties combining studying and working at the same time. In any case so far I can't satisfy those clients who want to have an elaborate conversation in German, but I'm definitely satisfying those who speak body language fluently.
KM-Team: A potential client is trying to gain your attention! What is the most effective way to your heart … uuh… inbox?
Elvira: When a potential client wants to get my attention first of all he can tip me. I really appreciate it. Second thing that is important for me is to see a clear laconic message. When I have hundreds of messages per day, then I just pick up the numbers (dates, hours) from the message first of all, then check my calendar to see if I'm available in that time frame. If there is no time frame or any clear request, or if I'm reciewing a whole autobiography from the client, then conversation can get unnecessarily long and another person who is clearer will get more attention and meet me in the end.
And last but not least: it helps to be patient. I can't see the message immediately normally. It might take hours, sometimes maybe a whole day to respond. Unfortunately, pretty often potential clients delete the chat before I even have a chance to see it. I prefer to plan dates in advance through the date manager. Unfortunately I don't have a secretary or a manager to respond to the potential clients when I'm busy. But it would be nice to have some auto-respons when I'm not online for a while, like: I'm not available at the moment, but will write you back as soon as I see your message. Please be patient. All the best things come to those who can wait.
KM-Team: Being an escort can require a lot of energy. How do you maintain your mental and physical well-being in your job?
Elvira: This is actually related to the previous question. My well-being and energy level depend on the possibility of putting away my phone and doing things that are good for me, like (beside learning German) going to the gym, meeting friends, going for a walk, cooking and one of the most important things for me is sleeping. If I can't sleep enough for a while, there will be no energy to share with my clients. This is especially necessary to consider for those who book me overnight.
KM-Team: You've been on Kaufmich for several years now! How do you calm your own nerves before a date?
Elvira: I don't get nervous before the dates, only if clients come too early or too late or something else doesn't work as I expected. It can be stressful, if one client stays too long and I already have another date planned right after that. In general when I have to protect my boundaries during the date, repeat the same things many times, try to make clients respect the time frame we agreed on and so on then most probably I will not meet with this client again. The more it feels like a kindergarten job, the less I'm motivated to repeat this experience.
KM-Team: You seem to be quite the allround-talent, open for many different types of services and fetishes. Have you ever tried something that just wasn’t your cup of tea and therefore, you don’t provide this service anymore?
Elvira: Yes, I had some services listed that I removed. I'm a curious person and always want to try new things out, but this way I also discover my natural boundaries. On the conscious level I can be completely fine with certain things, but subconsciously I reject it or it can be even traumatic. Elvira: I have an art degree and like to visit museums, exhibitions, theaters, but unfortunately I don't create anything myself currently. One of my friends gifted me an easel recently, so maybe I'll start painting again soon. I would also like to do more nude figure drawings. I clearly see that I lost skills, but this is a question of time. My artistic background gives me a unique possibility to enjoy every human body, find it fascinating and inspiring. I don't have to pretend that I like the person who doesn't fit certain beauty standards, for me every person is a piece of art that I'm excited to reveal.
