Hunter stammt ursprünglich aus dem US-Bundesstaat Michigan und lebt seit über zehn Jahren in Berlin, wo er sowohl als Darsteller als auch hinter der Kamera bekannt ist.
Sein allererster Film wurde direkt für einen AVN Award in Las Vegas nominiert – eine der renommiertesten Auszeichnungen der internationalen Pornoindustrie. Heute konzentriert er sich vor allem auf ein Genre, das er selbst mitprägt: Comedy Porn – also die Mischung aus Humor und Erotik.
Darüber hinaus arbeitet Hunter aktuell am Aufbau eines neuen Performer geführten Porno-Kollektivs, das Kreativen aus der Branche eine unabhängige Plattform bietet.

KM-Team: Hunter, welcome. We’re thrilled to have you here! Let’s start from the beginning: What was your entry point into sex work, and how did you discover your passion for porn?
Hunter: I’m thrilled to be here and thanks for inviting me! Like many a millennial sex worker, I got my start in the wilds of Craigslist (RIP) at the tender age of 19. I’d just finished an internship on a big Hollywood film and was browsing job posts when I stumbled across one from a local sex toy store chain. They wanted to launch their own porn brand and needed a director/cameraperson, and I swear, it felt like the ad was calling my name.
The job itself was terrible. Super old-school, misogynistic porn, run by a producer in his 50s dating the starlet, who was a year younger than me at 18. Their casting method for male “talent” was literally putting her picture up in the toy store with the tagline “want to fuck this?”
But it did push me in the right direction. I knew I wanted to make porn, but not that kind of porn. I wanted something that actually reimagines how we look at sex, that doesn’t just regurgitate the male gaze. I kept working in various forms of sex work over the decades (camming, porn, etc) and then I discovered filmmakers like Erika Lust and Ashley Vex on Tumblr (also RIP). Their work showed me you can make porn that’s horny and beautiful. That inspiration brought me to Berlin to be part of the indie porn scene and eventually have my first directed film be nominated for “Best Featurette” at the AVNs.
KM-Team: Your films stand out from typical adult content: You combine comedy with erotic storytelling. What challenges do you face when blending humor and sexuality?
Hunter: Do you have any idea how hard it is to make people laugh and then cum? Comedic timing is already hard, but pairing that with building erotic tension is like taking the world’s strongest Viagra, it’s just too damn hard.
That’s the real challenge, finding the rhythm so the humor doesn’t kill the sexiness, and the sex doesn’t flatten the joke. I try to mix the erotic moments into the story so they flow naturally, creating peaks and valleys where comedy and horniness bounce off each other. The laughter draws people in and makes them connect with the characters, and that connection makes the sex more intense. Ideally, it’s a laugh/cum combo.
And people want to laugh, it’s a natural reaction to tension, whether that’s tension from watching explicit sex with 60 strangers in a dark theater, or tension in your hand from holding your phone to keep your other hand free.
Of course, part of me wonders if I’m doing it wrong. Maybe I should just put all the cumming in the front and all the laughing at the back. Three minutes of hard fuck followed by twenty minutes of naked stand-up. I mean, who wouldn’t watch that?
KM-Team: How does the audience react to comedy porn compared to conventional porn?
Hunter: With a lot more openness and sociability. My aim is to make porn that breaks down walls and lets people engage with their sexuality in a safe, shame-free way. Comedy is a perfect gateway for that. It can be an entry point for people who’ve never watched porn before, or for those who might feel intimidated by watching hardcore porn together in a theater.
Because there’s more going on than just the pure sex (which is also great, I love conventional porn too), it creates space for people to relax and actually enjoy the experience. Laughter is the ultimate equalizer, it connects people when they might otherwise feel awkward or exposed. When I hear an audience laughing before the sex starts, I know they’re building a bond with each other that says we’re not here to judge, we’re here to enjoy. That makes it easier for them to extend the same non-judgment to themselves once the hotter parts kick in.
KM-Team: What kind of advice do you have for first-timers who would like to start performing in porn films?
Hunter: Research, research, research. When I first started camming and shooting homemade porn, I treated it like homework. I watched every cam site consistently, I knew all the major models, and I paid tokens just to chat and see how they built relationships with their fans, what clips they made, how they ran their businesses. Later, when I moved to Berlin and started producing and performing, I networked like crazy. I reached out to everyone in the scene, offered my help for free, and took whatever jobs I could get.
It really comes down to proving that you’re passionate, reliable, and capable. Those three traits will take you far. And if you’re asking for advice from performers or sex workers, always respect their time, their experience is built on years of hard work, and they don’t owe you free lessons.
What you absolutely shouldn’t do is send me a random DM on Instagram like, “hey bb, you fuck so many hot girls, how can I be a porn star like you, I’ve got a great dick.” Those guys can f*** right off.
KM-Team: How do you experience the sex work scene in Berlin? In your eyes, what makes the city special for the industry?
Hunter: Berlin isn’t perfect for sex workers, but living here as an American, it feels pretty close. Sex workers will always face challenges, no system is flawless, and with politicians pushing the Nordic Model and even calling for a ban on porn, we have to fight harder than ever to protect the space we’ve carved out.
What makes Berlin special to me is the sense of community. Among sex workers and in the city as a whole. People here generally don’t judge us for what we do, and that’s huge for me. Back in the US, I lived in constant fear that someone would find out. If they did, my career and my family could fall apart, I could very easily become a criminal. Here, my bosses know, my friends know, their parents know, and nobody really gives a shit. At most, they’re maybe a bit too curious sometimes, but there’s no judgment. It’s treated like what it is: my personal choice.
Berlin attracts a certain kind of person, but it also nurtures openness in people who haven’t had a chance to feel that sense of community. That’s part of what makes this city so unique. If you’re a sex-positive sex worker reading this, I can only say: come join us in Berlin. It’s fucking great, and we want you here.
KM-Team: Tell us about your new performer-led porn collective. What makes it special?
Hunter: We’re so excited about this. We’re calling ourselves the OnlyFrames Collective, and even though we’re still in the early phase, we’ve already done so much. Everyone brings their own vision of the kind of porn they want to create, plus different talents to match. The one thing we all share is a passion for filming super hot sex… and surprisingly strong business/organization skills, which turn out to be just as important.
What makes it special is the way we come together. We respect each other’s time, ideas, and energy, and that creates an atmosphere where everyone feels valued. That sense of trust lets us take on projects none of us could do alone, and it keeps the balance between the artistic and economic sides of porn production. It’s not just a collective in name, it really works like one.
KM-Team: As a pornstar you might be close to sexworkers, too - what do you think of Kaufmich as a market place for sexworkers?
Hunter: Might be close to sex workers? I can’t escape them. If I hear about one more no-show, or have to cheer up another friend stuck alone at the dungeon because their client bailed at the last minute…
I found out about KaufMich when I moved to Germany, and it’s been around me ever since. I’ve never been hired through it myself, but just about everyone I know has used it at some point to make a living. I’ve even helped a couple of partners set up their first accounts. Honestly, it’s a great platform, and I’m glad we’re in a place where something like this exists to support and protect sex workers.
KM-Team: As Kaufmich evolves a bit more into a hybrid platform for escorts, content creators, and other adult entertainers, what tools would you personally love to see added for performers like you?
Hunter: I’d love to see a casting or collab-partner feature. I’m always looking for talented performers to work with on projects I’m producing or performing in. Something like a Tinder for performers, where you can be matched with others who complement your style and skills, would be incredibly useful. It could make collaborations faster, more creative, and just more fun.

KM-Team: From your experience, do you think being a porn performer requires different abilities than other types of sex work, or is there a lot of overlap in what's needed to succeed?
Hunter: I think communication is one of the most important abilities in both porn and other forms of sex work. For male performers especially, it can be hard to stay focused and find intimacy on a professional set. Communicating openly with co-performers and crew makes it much easier to get your needs met and set yourself up for success and confidence that day.
The same goes for sex work outside of porn. Talking with new clients, negotiating terms, setting boundaries, and building ongoing relationships all take strong communication skills. In both cases, good communication builds focus and confidence, just in different ways. At the end of the day, all sex work is sales, and sales is nothing without communication.
KM-Team: And finally, for all our readers dreaming of filming their own private movies: what’s your top tip for creating the hottest erotic videos?
Hunter: If you’re really looking to make an incredibly hot erotic video, get in a sauna. Those suckers can hit 70 to 100 degrees Celsius, so you’ll need to stay hydrated, but it’s gonna be some hot sex.
